Description

The Poolside Grill intern will be exposed to all areas of the Seasonal Operations department (Poolside Grill & 10th Tee Snack Bar) in a large, private club environment, to supplement an academic program in hospitality management or related field. The intern will develop and demonstrate knowledge through a series of trainings and structured conversations with managers. The Poolside Grill Intern will take on various leadership responsibilities within the operation such as scheduling, requisitions, inventory, and payroll as well as supporting the Assistant Manager with running the day-to-day operations and managing the Poolside Grill team.

General requirements

  • Previous experience working or training in food and beverage service at a private club preferred
  • Current enrollment in a college degree program in hospitality management or similar academic field

Compensation

$12/hr

Housing information

Farmington provides fully furnished apartments to interns on a space-available basis, which they share with other interns. A weekly payroll deduction covers each intern’s use of the apartment.
