Description
The Event Operations Intern will be exposed to all areas of the Event Operations department in a large, private club environment, to supplement an academic program in hospitality management or related field. The intern will develop and demonstrate knowledge through a series of trainings and structured conversations with managers. The Event Operations Intern will spend the majority of the summer learning the operation with involvement in the set-up, service and break-down of a variety of events. Towards the conclusion of the internship, the Intern will be assigned several leadership responsibilities within the operation.
General requirements
- Previous experience working or training in food and beverage service at a private club preferred
- Current enrollment in a college degree program in hospitality management or similar academic field
Compensation
$12/hr

Housing information
Farmington provides fully furnished apartments to interns on a space-available basis, which they share with other interns. A weekly payroll deduction covers each intern’s use of the apartment.
