Description
The Lodges are looking for a Retail Clerk to complete our exceptional Retail team. The ideal individual is excited to work in a professional yet very genuine way and embraces working in a rustic environment in a relationship-oriented business. Retail clerks perform a variety of duties including stocking and replenishing the store, merchandising items in the store, maintaining food safety and tracking expiration dates on food, receiving and moving shipments from our loading dock, running the cash register, running the barista area, serving food, and providing exceptional guest service to our guests. Retail clerks should have prior guest service and retail clerk experience, and a willingness to learn and grow in the position.
General requirements
- Prior retail or similar experience
- Excellent money handling skills
- Strong visual/spatial organization skills
- Possess current Food Handling Certification
- Attention to detail
- Adhere to health and safety rules within the general store and barista areas
- Able to troubleshoot to ensure timely and accurate service to guests
- Ensure work area is kept clean and neat
- Able to follow instructions accurately and multi-task
- Capable of self-supervision
- Able to smile and provide warm, heartfelt hospitality to external and internal guests
- Able to answer guest questions and give appropriate guidance
- Able to work safely to avoid injuries and accidents, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment
Compensation
Retail Clerk - $17.00/hour
