Description
The Bohemian Club hires a number of Summer interns to assist in managing food and beverage operations at both properties. Interns gain real management experience in hiring, scheduling, training, and managing staff in the food server, busser, bartender, shuttle driver, and uniform attendant roles. This internship is perfect for students studying hospitality management who are in search of real food and beverage management experience. Students with elevated interest in a career in club management typically excel. Interns are exposed to operations at both the San Francisco City Club and the Bohemian Grove in Sonoma County. Interns play a crucial role in managing some of the clubs 600+ seasonal employees.
General requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Active persuit of a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent is a plus.
- Active participation in a CMAA student chapter is a plus.
Compensation
$12/hr
Benefits & perks
- Interns are paid a salary of $1,200 per week
- The Club will reimburse for one (1) round trip ‘economy’ class flight from a hired intern's current residence to San Francisco
Housing information
Housing is provided both in San Francisco and Sonoma County.
