Description
Blue Hill at Stone Barns is seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our growing team. Blue Hill at Stone Barns is a two-Michelin star restaurant and leading voice in the sustainable food movement.Together with our nonprofit partner, Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture, we are dedicated to providing exceptional and memorable culinary experiences rooted in local sourcing and regenerative agriculture at events held on our premises.
The Baker will be responsible for executing bakery operations for the restaurant, events and Cafeteria, including research and development.
General requirements
Experience: minimum 1 year experience in a bakery environment, or equivalent knowledge and experience with commercial kitchen equipment and procedures and familiarity with advanced techniques and diverse baking methods is preferred.
Compensation
$18-$20/hour
