The Columns is a historic hotel at 3811 St. Charles Avenue in New Orleans. Built in 1883 as a private residence, it became a boarding house during World War I, and in 1953 a local family turned it into a hotel, where the bar on the porch became a star. The building is listed on the National Park Service's National Register of Historic Places.
In 2019 the hotel was sold to Jayson Seidman and his family, locals who are keeping it a family property with the attention and respect it deserves. The Columns has received One Michelin Key for hotel excellence in 2024, 2025 and 2026, and serves breakfast and brunch, coffee and tea and seasonal American fare, with a bar and wine bar.
