Overstory is a contemporary cocktail bar in New York City's Financial District, located on the 64th floor of 70 Pine Street, one floor above SAGA restaurant. It is owned and operated by Chef James Kent and the team behind Crown Shy on the ground floor of the same building, as part of Kent Hospitality Group.
Guests are greeted in the red marble-clad lobby of 70 Pine before being shuttled to the 63rd floor in a dedicated elevator that opens into SAGA. The space is surrounded by a wraparound terrace with 360-degree views of the New York City skyline.
Overstory was ranked on The World's 50 Best Bars list (No. 34 in 2022, No. 17 in 2023, No. 15 in 2024 and No. 46 in 2025), and was included in North America's 50 Best Bars in 2024 and 2025, ranking No. 33 in 2026.
