Double Chicken Please

Named Best Bar in North America and No. 2 on The World's 50 Best Bars in 2023, Double Chicken Please is a restaurant and cocktail bar at 115 Allen Street on the Lower East Side that offers two different hospitality experiences in one space. With its now-famous chicken sandwiches served throughout, the Front Room offers inventive cocktails on tap in a casual, industrial setting. The Back Room offers inventive craft cocktails that deconstruct, redefine and rebuild iconic dishes in liquid form, such as the Japanese Cold Noodle, Cold Pizza, Key Lime Pie, NY Beet Salad and Mango Sticky Rice.

Double Chicken Please is the first venture from Taiwanese cocktail masters Faye Chen and GN Chan, whose bar experience includes Shanghai's acclaimed Speak Low and New York's Angel's Share.

The front of house team is cross-trained in all FOH roles (host, server, runner and busser). The bar believes an entirely full-time, well-rounded and agile team works more effectively together on the floor and provides a better hospitality experience for guests.

Part of Cloud 9 Hospitality Group, the bar has also ranked on The World's 50 Best Bars (No. 6 in 2022, No. 14 in 2024 and No. 41 in 2025) and North America's 50 Best Bars (2024, 2025 and No. 35 in 2026), won World's Best Cocktail Menu at the 2023 Spirited Awards, and was a James Beard semifinalist for Outstanding Bar in 2026.
