Cosme

Cosme, world-renowned Chef Enrique Olvera's first American restaurant, is located in the Flatiron District and serves contemporary dishes inspired by Mexican cuisine that artfully adapt to local ingredients.

The menu is designed for shared plates of botanas, and the relaxed atmosphere encourages guests to order spontaneously and let conversations linger. In addition to the main dining room, Cosme includes a bar room and a private dining room for up to 12 guests.

Named after a market in Mexico City where Olvera's grandfather took him as a child, Cosme evokes a strong sense of place. The restaurant embraces its "New Yorkness" by offering dishes created with a Mexican framework and soul but adapted with local and seasonal ingredients.

Part of Casamata, Cosme ranked on The World's 50 Best Restaurants (No. 40 in 2017, No. 25 in 2018, No. 23 in 2019 and No. 22 in 2021), was rated AAA Four Diamond in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2025, was listed among La Liste's Outstanding Restaurants in 2025 and 2026, and was a James Beard semifinalist for Outstanding Hospitality in 2026.
