Causa/Amazonia brings together two Peruvian concepts from Chef Carlos Delgado and Glendon Hartley and Chad Spangler of Service Bar. Causa is a Peruvian fine dining destination featuring fresh ceviche, whole fish preparations and wood-grilled anticucho, exploring Peruvian coastal and Andean cuisine through a six-course tasting menu. Amazonia, on the floor above Causa, has a bar area, rooftop patio and dining area, and focuses on Amazonian cuisine in an upscale casual format with an emphasis on Peruvian cocktails.
Guests can find refreshment in an extensive cocktail list, sample from one of America's largest pisco libraries, or enjoy a selection of natural and South American wines.
Causa/Amazonia was awarded One Michelin Star in 2023, 2024 and 2025; Carlos Delgado won the James Beard Award for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic and the RAMMY for Chef of the Year in 2025, and the team won the RAMMY for Cocktail Program of the Year in 2026.
